MBBS, MD (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy) β dermatologist, cosmetologist and hair transplant surgeon in Indore with more than 15 years of clinical experience, and founder of Radiant Skin, Hair & Laser Clinic, Pipliyahana.

Dr. Abhishek Malviya is a dermatologist, cosmetologist and hair transplant surgeon based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Jabalpur, and his postgraduate MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Government Medical College, Patiala. Before establishing his own practice he served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at AIIMS, where he taught and treated alongside academic dermatology faculty.
He has practised dermatology for more than 15 years and today leads Radiant Skin, Hair & Laser Clinic in Pipliyahana, Indore. His clinical work spans the full breadth of the speciality: medical dermatology for conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo and fungal infections; hair restoration including medical therapy, PRP and FUE hair transplant; pediatric dermatology; and aesthetic procedures including laser hair removal, botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, chemical peels and microneedling.
Two things define how he practises. The first is diagnosis before treatment β blood work, dermoscopy or a KOH mount where the cause is not obvious, so that a patient is not sold a procedure that will not solve their problem. The second is that he performs the procedures himself. Hair transplants, injectables and lasers at Radiant are carried out by Dr. Malviya rather than delegated to technicians.
He has lectured and demonstrated at national and international dermatology and hair-transplant workshops, and is a lifetime member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). He is listed among the top three dermatologists in Indore by ThreeBestRated.

A first consultation runs about 15β20 minutes. It begins with history β how long the problem has been present, what has already been tried, family history, medication, and for hair loss, diet and recent illness. Examination follows, with dermoscopy for scalp and pigment problems and a KOH mount or culture where infection is suspected. Blood tests are ordered when the history points to thyroid dysfunction, anaemia, PCOS or vitamin deficiency.
Patients leave with a written plan, a realistic timeline, and the cost of what has been recommended. Where a procedure is not the right answer, he says so β a proportion of patients who come asking for a hair transplant are advised medical therapy instead, because their donor area or pattern of loss does not yet justify surgery.
